Your tracker lives on your pet's collar and goes wherever they go, so a little routine care keeps it reporting reliably. Here's how to charge it, fit it and look after it.
How to charge it
- Open the waterproof cover over the charging port on the tracker.
- Plug in a USB-C cable. Any USB-C cable should work. Use a standard charger rather than a fast charger.
- Check for a light. While it's on the charger, a red light usually means it's charging and a green light usually means it's fully charged.
- Close the waterproof cover again as soon as you unplug it.
You'll also get app notifications — "{Pet}'s tracker is charging", then "{Pet}'s tracker is fully charged".
Please note: If the battery has run completely flat, give it 10 to 60 minutes on the charger before you expect any light at all. A deeply drained battery takes longer to respond.
Please note: The tracker won't play training sounds while it's charging — that's deliberate, to protect the speaker. The app will tell you: "The tracker can't play sounds while charging."

How long a charge lasts
Up to 14 days, depending on how much you use it and which settings you have on. To stretch it further, set up Power Saving Zones for places your pet spends a lot of time, and keep LIVE tracking sessions to the length you actually need.
Wearing it on your pet
- It attaches to your pet's collar or harness, and stays put securely when fitted correctly. The app's last setup screen says it simply: "Clip the tracker onto the collar — everything else is done."
- It weighs 68 g including the silicone strap and is designed to be worn 24 hours a day.
- It's suited to pets over 4 kg. Smaller sizes and models are planned.
- GPS works best outdoors with a clear view of the sky, so tracking is naturally less precise indoors or under heavy cover.

Water, mud and cleaning
The tracker is rated IPX67 — it can be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for 30 minutes, and it's built for rain, splashes and normal outdoor conditions.
- Keep the waterproof cover closed at all times when you're not charging.
- After a swim in the sea, rinse the tracker with fresh water.
- Make sure it's clean and completely dry before charging.
- Check the charging port now and then for dirt, dust or moisture, and gently clean the contacts if needed. Never charge a damp port — let it dry fully first.
