Not at the moment. Ask A Vet signs you in with your email address and password — optionally with an emailed two-factor code on top. Here's what that means in practice.

Please note: if you can't remember which email address you used, try searching your inboxes (including spam and promotions) for messages from Ask A Vet — subjects such as "Welcome to Ask A Vet" or "Your Ask A Vet verification code".
Do I have to type my password every time?
No. Your sign-in details are stored securely on your device — in the iPhone Keychain or the Android Keystore, which are only readable while the device is unlocked — and your session renews itself quietly in the background while you use the app. As long as you open Ask A Vet at least once a week, you can go months without re-entering your password.
When you'll be asked to sign in again
- You tapped Logout in Settings.
- The app couldn't renew your session.
- You're signing in on a new device.
Tip: if you'd like an extra layer of security on your account, turn on two-factor authentication in Settings → Security.
