You can change how the GPS Tracker map looks and what's drawn on it — the map style, whether your zones show, and whether accuracy circles appear.
Open map settings
- Open your pet's profile and tap GPS Tracker to open the map, then tap the settings button in the header at the top.
- Tap Map settings ("Control what you can see").
Map styles
Pick one of three:
- Standard — the default
- Satellite
- OpenStreetMap
Please note: if you choose OpenStreetMap and the map still looks like Standard, the street-map source isn't available in your version of the app. [CONFIRM: whether the OpenStreetMap style is enabled in the current release]

About "Show accuracy"
Turning it on draws a ring around precise GPS positions, showing how tightly the tracker has pinned your pet down.
It doesn't affect the blue "approximate area" circle you see for estimated positions — from nearby mobile masts, from Wi-Fi, or from the centre of a zone. That circle always shows, whatever this toggle is set to, because it's telling you something important about how rough the position is.
Where your choices are saved
Map settings are saved on the phone you set them on, and they stay put between app launches. Change them on another device and you'll need to set them there too.
Other things on the map you can control
- Recenter — the button at the bottom left of the map snaps back to your pet. If the tracker hasn't reported a position yet, it centres on your own location instead so you're not left staring at an empty map.
- The + menu — Refresh, Monitor separation anxiety, Virtual fence, Power saving zone and Report danger. Refresh is unavailable when the tracker is reachable only over Bluetooth; the middle three are unavailable when the tracker can't be reached at all. Report danger is always available.
