Ask A Vet keeps a running list of your alerts inside the app, so nothing is lost if a push notification slips past you on your lock screen. Here's where to find that list and how to read it.
How to open it
- Open the Ask A Vet app and go to the Home tab.
- Tap the bell icon in the top-right corner of the header.
- The Notifications screen opens. Tap the back arrow when you're done.
Please note: The bell only appears on the Home tab. If you're somewhere else in the app, go back to Home first.
How the list is organised
Alerts are grouped into three sections, always in this order. A section you have nothing in is hidden.

| Today | Alerts from today that you've already read. |
| Earlier | Everything older that you've already read. |
Reading a row
Each row shows your pet's photo with a small coloured badge (or a coloured circle with a symbol when no pet applies), a short sentence with the important part in bold, and how long ago it arrived.
Times are shown in a compact form:

What the colours mean

| Green QR symbol | Your pet's QR tag was scanned |
| Orange bell | A tracker alarm — zones, battery, power, barking, temperature |
| Red warning triangle | A reported hazard near your pet |
| Blue download arrow | A tracker firmware update |
| Purple people | A family invitation |
| Teal calendar | A calendar event reminder |
| Grey bell | Anything else |
Seeing older alerts
The list loads 20 alerts at a time. Scroll to the bottom and tap See previous notifications to load the next batch. Alerts aren't deleted automatically as they age, so you can keep scrolling back.
When the list is empty
A brand-new account shows an illustration with "No notifications yet!" and "We'll show your alerts here as soon as they arrive." That's normal — the first alert will appear here as soon as something happens.
