Activity & stats is where the Ask A Vet app sums up your pet's day: how much they moved, how much they slept, and how they're tracking against the goals you've set. Here's a tour.
Where to find it
There are two ways in:
- Open your pet's profile, go to the Health tab and tap Activity & stats (described as "Activity insights")
- Or, from the GPS Tracker screen or the walk sheet, tap the Activity quick action
The six metrics

| Barking | Times barked |
Activity and Steps get full-width cards; the rest are shown in a grid below them.
Please note: Barking is shown only for pets whose species is set to Dog. For cats and other pets it's hidden entirely.
Four time ranges
At the top of the screen you can switch between Today, This week, Past 7 days and Past month.
Important: The figures shown for a range are daily averages, not totals for the whole range. See "How to read your pet's Activity & stats dashboard" for exactly how each range is presented.
Goals and progress
Each card except Barking shows a progress bar and a goal line such as Goal: 10,000 steps / day. The bar fills up as your pet goes, and the goal line turns green once the goal is met. Barking has no goal — it shows a count and a band name instead.
Tap any card for the detail
Tapping a card opens that metric's own screen, which adds:
- A week calendar with a progress ring for each day
- A goal card you can swipe between metrics
- A Goal row with Tap to change
- An Insights section with an hour-by-hour chart
- A Trends section with This week, Past 7 days and Past month views
Where the numbers come from
All of these figures are measured by your pet's tracker, not by your phone. Walks you record on your phone are kept separately and don't add to them.
