Some things reach you by email as well as by push notification. If that's more than you want, there's an unsubscribe link in every email we send.
How to unsubscribe
- Open any email from Ask A Vet.
- Scroll to the footer, to the line that begins "You're receiving this because you have an Ask A Vet account."
- Tap the Unsubscribe link in "Unsubscribe from non-essential updates."

Please note: There's no separate email confirming that a consultation payment went through — the booking email you already receive covers that.

Please note: You don't get an email when you start or end a chat yourself.
Keep push on for the email-free alerts
Three things never arrive by email at all: the reminder 30 minutes before a video consultation, the alert telling you your vet has joined the call, and the confirmation that a consultation payment went through. Keep push notifications switched on if you rely on any of those.

Unsubscribing doesn't turn off in-app alerts
Everything that appears on the in-app Notifications screen keeps appearing there. To change what reaches your phone as a pop-up, use your phone's notification settings instead.
