You can see how much charge your tracker has left at a glance, without digging through settings. Here's where to look and what the colours mean.
Where to find the battery level
- Open your pet's profile and go to the map screen.
- Look at the top of the tracker card — the battery appears as a pill showing the percentage, for example 64%.
The same battery indicator also appears on your pet's marker on the map, next to their temperature and signal.
Please note: The figure shown is the last battery level your tracker reported, not a live meter. Trackers check in roughly once an hour, so it can lag a little — and while a tracker is unreachable it simply stays on the last figure we received.
What the icon and colour mean
| Icon | Battery level |
|---|---|
| Charging icon | The tracker is on charge |
| Full | Fully charged, or 80% and above |
| Medium | 50–79% |
| Low (amber) | 20–49% |
| Empty (red) | Below 20% |
Tip: Below 5% the percentage number is hidden and only the icon is shown. Take that as a sign to charge straight away.
What happens as the battery drops
Your tracker changes its own behaviour as it runs low:
| Battery level | What the tracker does |
|---|---|
| 20% | Switches into energy-saving mode to stretch the remaining charge |
| 10% | Warns you again |
| 0% | Shuts down, and you stop receiving location updates until it's charged and switched back on |
You'll get a notification at both the 20% and 10% points, so you don't have to keep checking manually.
