Cancelled and changed your mind? As long as your paid period hasn't ended yet, you can turn your subscription back on in a couple of taps — you won't lose anything.
How to resume
- Open Settings → Subscriptions.
- Tap Manage plan.
- At the bottom, tap Resume subscription.
- Read the Resume your subscription? dialog: "You'll keep your {Plan} and continue being billed as normal. Your next payment is on {date}."
- Tap Resume to confirm, or Not now to leave the cancellation in place.
You'll see the confirmation "Your subscription will continue", and the renewal date reappears on the Manage subscription screen.
You'll also get a "Welcome back to Ask A Vet" email — "Your {plan} is set to continue. Auto-renew is back on — you'll be billed again on {date}."
Tip: Resuming doesn't charge you anything today. Billing simply carries on as it did before, on your normal renewal date.
If you don't see a Resume button
The Resume subscription button only appears when a cancellation is actually scheduled. If the button is missing, or you see "This subscription isn't scheduled to cancel.", your subscription is already set to renew as normal — nothing more to do.
If your period has already ended
Once the end date has passed, there's nothing left to resume — your account is back on the Free Plan. Tap View subscription plans and subscribe again. Your pets, photos and history are all still there.
If resuming fails
If you see "Failed to resume subscription":
- Close the screen.
- Reopen Settings → Subscriptions to refresh your plan.
- Try again.
