Every walk you finish is saved so you can look back at it later — including a replay of the route and a link you can send to someone else.
Find a past walk
- Open your pet's profile and go to the GPS Tracker screen.
- Tap Walk to open the walk sheet.
- Scroll down to the Walk history section.
Walks are grouped by day (for example Mon · Aug 3), newest first, and load 20 at a time as you keep scrolling. If you haven't recorded any yet, you'll see No walks yet.
Finished walks also show up on your pet's location Timeline as a card titled Walk.
What a walk card shows
Each card in Walk history gives you:
- The start and end of the walk as {start} → {end} place labels (or just Walk if no label could be worked out)
- The time range the walk covered
- A small map snapshot of the route
- Three chips: duration, distance in km and average speed in km/h
Tip: If you have a virtual fence set up — for example around your home — its name is used as the place label instead of a street address, which makes "Home → Park" style cards much easier to scan.
Open and replay a walk
Tap a card to open the walk in detail. You'll see:
- An eyebrow line reading WALK · {date}
- Three stat tiles: Duration, Distance and Avg speed
- The full route drawn on a map
Press play or drag the scrubber to replay the route. Playback is compressed so it always takes between 20 and 60 seconds, whether the walk lasted 15 minutes or two hours.
Please note: Gaps in the route line are normal — they're the stretches where the walk was paused, either by you or because the tracker was out of Bluetooth range.
Share a route
- On the walk detail screen, tap Share route.
- Pick any sharing option on your phone to send it.
Ask A Vet builds a message with a short summary — your pet's name, the date, the distance, the duration and the start and end points — plus a Google Maps directions link that follows the recorded route.
Please note: The shared link is a map route, not a live view of your pet. [CONFIRM: whether walk data can be exported as a file, e.g. CSV or GPX, or connected to third-party fitness apps]
