When someone scans your pet's QR tag — or opens the link you shared — they get your pet's profile page in their browser. This article covers what that page looks like while your pet is marked as lost.
The top of the page
The page is headed "{your pet's name}'s Profile", followed by the line "If you found {your pet's name}, please keep them safe and call immediately!".
Over your pet's photo there's a badge:

That badge is the only part of the page that changes with Lost Mode. The sections below it read the same whether or not your pet is marked as lost — what they contain depends entirely on what you've filled in and switched on.
The sections on the page
Below the photo, the page can show up to six sections:
- Owner information
- Pet information
- Family contacts
- Vital information
- Vet clinic
- Additional information
There's also an emergency block headed "If found sick or injured", with a Nearest emergency Vet button that offers to open Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Important: Most of these sections are private by default. Each QR tag has its own visibility switches for Last located, Vital information, Vet clinic, Family contacts and Additional information, and they all start switched off. Anything switched off is stripped out of the page completely — a finder can't see it, and neither can you when you preview the page. See the QR Tag section of this help center to turn them on.
Where "Last located" comes from
If you've switched Last located on, the page shows whichever of these is more recent:
- the address you entered on the lost report, or
- the address of the most recent successful scan of your pet's tag.
That means each new scan can move the "last located" pin forward for you automatically — and re-submitting the lost report with a fresh address does the same.
What a finder does not see
The page is a contact card, not a tracker. It doesn't show your pet's live GPS position, their location history, or anything you haven't switched on.
