Tracker alerts aren't controlled from the app's Settings menu — each one is set up on the pet it belongs to. Here's where each control lives and what it changes.
Where to find them
- Open the pet's profile.
- Go to GPS Tracker.
- Tap Settings.
Everything below is on that screen.
Virtual fence
"Mark safe and no-go areas for your pet"
Creating a zone is what produces the "{Pet} has left {zone}", "{Pet} has arrived at {zone}" and "{Pet} entered a restricted area" alerts. If you don't want those alerts, remove the zone. See the GPS Tracker section of this help centre for how to draw and edit zones.
Temperature alerts
"Set cold/hot thresholds for your pet"
There are two independent switches:
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cold alert | Notify me when it drops below the threshold, with your own Low threshold (°C) |
| Hot alert | Notify me when it rises above the threshold, with your own High threshold (°C) |
The app explains it like this: "Get an alert when the temperature around your pet's tracker gets too cold or too hot. Thresholds sync to the collar so it can flag the condition even without cellular signal."
Barking alerts
"Bark alerts, sensitivity and schedule" — dogs only.
Here you set how sensitive the detection is and the hours you want to be alerted. The app describes it as: "Your tracker listens for barking and counts barks over a detection cycle. When the count passes your threshold inside a scheduled window, you get an alert."
Alerts with no on/off switch
Battery, charging, powered on/off and firmware alerts can't be switched off individually in the app.
| Phone | What you can do instead |
|---|---|
| Android | Mute the Tracker Alarms category (battery, charging, power) or the App & Device Updates category (firmware) in your phone's notification settings. |
| iPhone | The only option is to turn notifications off for the whole app. |
Please note: Battery, charging, power and barking alerts only ever go to the tracker's owner — family members don't receive them, whatever their permissions.
