The dashboard packs a lot into a small space, and one detail catches most people out: the range figures are averages per day, not totals. Here's how to read it properly.
Pick a range
Tap one of the four chips at the top of the screen:

| This week | The current week so far, starting Monday |
| Past 7 days | The last 7 days, including today |
| Past month | The last 30 days |
These ranges follow the pet owner's local calendar — that's the calendar the tracker's readings are filed against. If you're a family member in a different time zone, "today" means the owner's today.
Read the figure as a daily average
Important: For every range longer than a day, the number on the card is the average of your pet's daily totals across that range — not the sum. A Past month step count of 8,400 means your pet averaged about 8,400 steps a day, not 8,400 steps in the month.
Check which goal you're compared against
The goal line tells you which way the card is set up:

So on This week, a Steps card reading 58,800 against Goal: 70,000 steps / week is the daily average of 8,400 shown at weekly scale. It isn't the raw number of steps taken so far this week.
Read the progress bar
The bar fills to your pet's progress toward the goal and stops at 100% once the goal is met. The goal line turns green when the goal has been reached.
Barking is different
Barking has no goal, so no progress bar. Instead it shows the count of barks and the band that count falls into — Silent, Quiet, Normal, Chatty, Vocal or Alarm dog.
