Once a document is in your pet's library you can read it inside the app or pass it on to a clinic, a sitter or a family member. Here's how.
Open a document
- Open your pet's profile → Details tab → Documents.
- Tap the folder it's filed in.
- Tap the document row.
The Document details screen opens, showing the title, Issued and Expires dates, a preview of the file and — if it came from a calendar event — a Source link back to that event.
How each file type opens
| File type | How it opens |

| Images | Preview right there on the screen |
| PDFs | The app's built-in PDF viewer |
| Videos | The app's built-in player |
| Spreadsheets, Word documents and CSV files | An in-app viewer |
| Anything else | Handed to your phone, which opens it in whichever app you normally use for that file type |
If the file isn't previewed inline, the card shows a file icon and Tap to open.
Share a document
- On Document details, tap the … menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Share document.
Your phone's normal share sheet opens with the document's title and a link to the file, so you can send it by email, message it, or save it wherever you like.
Tip: This is the quickest way to get a vaccination certificate to a boarding kennel or a new clinic — no need to re-scan the paperwork.
Good to know
- There's no search or sort in the Documents screens today. Browse by folder — inside each one, documents are listed newest first.
- Pull down on a folder's list to refresh it if something you just added hasn't appeared yet.
- There's no bulk download or "export everything" option — documents are shared one at a time. [CONFIRM: whether a bulk export of a pet's documents is planned, and where it would live]
