If a plan price looks off, or appears in a currency you weren't expecting, don't worry — it's almost always a display issue rather than a billing one, and it clears up quickly.
Why this happens
Plan prices are loaded live from our payment provider rather than built into the app. While they're loading — or if your connection drops out — the app falls back to a set of built-in example prices so the cards aren't blank. Those fallbacks aren't labelled on screen, so they can look like real prices when they're not.
What to check first
- Are you online? Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data if you're not sure.
- Have you left the Plans screen and come back? Prices refresh at most every 15 minutes, so give it a moment.
Step-by-step
- Check your internet connection.
- Close the Plans screen and reopen it from Settings → Subscriptions → Manage plan → Explore plans (or View subscription plans on the Free Plan).
- If it still looks wrong, wait a few minutes and reopen it once more.
- Compare against the checkout page — that's the authoritative figure.
Important: Whatever the plan card shows, the amount on the checkout page and on your invoice is what you'll actually be charged. If they disagree, the checkout and invoice are correct.
Why the currency may differ
Your subscription bills in one currency, which may not be the currency shown in a store or quoted elsewhere. If you've been subscribed for a long time, you may still be billed in the currency you originally signed up in — and if the plan you're switching to isn't offered in that currency, the app will take you through a fresh checkout in the current currency instead of switching in place.
On the tracker-slot screen the currency is stated explicitly in a footnote: "All prices in {currency code}."
When no price is shown at all
If a price genuinely can't be loaded, the app deliberately shows no number rather than a guess — for example the tracker screen switches to "Adding another tracker adds a recurring charge to your plan. You'll see the exact amount before anything is charged.", and the telehealth bullet reads "Telehealth — pay per call". You'll always see the exact figure before anything is charged.
