Every AI conversation is kept, so you can go back to what AI Vet said last month about your pet's itchy ear. Here's how to find it and how to tidy the list once you're done.
Where your AI chats live
| Where to look | What you'll see |
|---|---|
| The Consults tab on the bottom bar → AI Chats | Every AI conversation on your account |
| A pet's profile → Consults → Chats with AI Vet | Just that pet's conversations |
Each row shows your pet, a time label, an unread badge if there's something new, and a status line:
| Status line | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ongoing conversation (or the latest message) | Still open |
| This chat was ended | You closed it |
| This chat expired after 24 hours | It closed itself after a day of silence |
| Archived | You've tidied it away |
Filter the list
Tap the filter icon in the screen header to narrow things down by:
- Status — All, Ongoing, Ended, Expired or Archived
- Pet — All pets, or one specific pet
Please note: archived chats are hidden from the list unless you choose the All or Archived filter.
Archive a chat
Swipe the row and choose to archive it.
Important: only chats that have Ended or Expired can be archived. Try it on a live conversation and you'll see "Can't archive yet" — "This consultation is still ongoing. You can archive it once it ends."
If you want to archive a chat that's still open, end it first (tap End in the chat header), then swipe.
How far back the history goes
There's no cap on the list — every AI conversation on your account stays in AI Chats, newest first, until you archive it. Deleting the pet, or your account, removes its chats for good.
If the list looks empty or broken
A brand-new account shows "No AI chats yet" — "Ask quick questions and get instant answers from our AI assistant" — with a Chat with AI Vet button.
If something goes wrong loading it, you'll see "Something went wrong" — "Couldn't load chats. Pull down to refresh." Pull down on the list to try again.
Tip: conversations whose underlying chat is no longer available are hidden from this list automatically, so an old chat vanishing from the list isn't a bug.
