AI Vet Chat is the Ask A Vet app's built-in AI assistant for pet health questions. It's available any time of day, answers in seconds, and every conversation is about one specific pet — so it already knows their species, breed, age and weight before you type a word.
Where to find it
There are three ways in:

All three lead to the same place. Inside a conversation, the assistant appears as AI Vet.
What it's for
The welcome screen sums it up as "Get instant answers about your pet's health", "Available anytime, anywhere", with three things it does well:

In practice people use it to make sense of a symptom, work out how urgent something is, decide on a next step, and ask everyday questions about diet, behaviour, grooming, training and prevention.
What a chat looks like
The header shows your pet's photo and name, with an End button on the right. The message box reads "Ask about \<your pet's name>...".
Answers stream in as they're written, and a small pill above the input shows what AI Vet is doing — Thinking…, Checking… or Saving the file…. Under each answer you get Copy, a thumbs up, a thumbs down and Share.
If the assistant thinks a real vet should look at your pet, a Chat with a real vet button appears at the top of the conversation.
Important limits
Important: AI Vet is not a licensed veterinarian. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication or give dosages, and it can't replace a physical examination. The welcome screen says it plainly: "AI is not a substitute for emergency care."

AI Vet Chat is included with Premium and is unlimited on that plan.
