If support asks "which version are you on?", here's where to find it. It takes two taps.
Step-by-step
- Open Settings.
- Tap About us.
- Read your version and build under the logo, shown as Version X (Build Y) — for example, Version 5.0.9 (Build 1).
- Tap Close when you're done.
Why we ask for it
The app tells us which version it is with every request, and some older versions are no longer supported. Knowing your version lets us tell straight away whether the problem you're describing has already been fixed.
Tip: when you send a request from Settings → Help, include your version number and your phone model in the Description box. It saves a round of back-and-forth.
How to update
- Tap Update Now if the update sheet appears when you open the app, or
- Open the App Store or Google Play, search for Ask A Vet, and tap Update if it's offered.
