Your pet's tracker can light up and play a sound on demand — handy for spotting them in the dark, or calling them back from across a field. Here's where to find both.

- The tracker light
- Tracker sounds
- Phone sounds
- Vibration cues

Where to start
The quickest ways in:
- The Light and Sound buttons inside the Radar Mode sheet, so you can flash and beep while you search.
- The quick-actions row under the map buttons, which gives one-tap access to Activity, Sounds and Light.
The tracker light
- Open your pet's profile and tap GPS Tracker to open the map.
- Tap the settings button in the header, then tap Tracker light ("Control the LED light on your tracker").
- Use the Light status toggle — it reads Light is ON or Light is OFF.
- Choose a mode: Solid or Rainbow.
- Choose a colour: White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan or Purple.
[CONFIRM: how long the tracker light stays on before switching itself off]
Messages you may see:
- "Tracker is offline. Please try again."
- "Light features are unavailable while battery is low."
- "Tracker is connected via Bluetooth — light controls work while nearby."
- "Syncing with your tracker — this can take a moment while it reconnects."
- "The tracker rejected the light command. Please try again."
Tracker sounds
- Open the Training sounds screen — tap Sounds in the quick-actions row under the map, or Training Sounds on your pet's profile.
- Pick the Tracker tab.
- Pick a sound, then tap Play.
The screen explains:
"Play a sound straight from your pet's tracker to reinforce training cues or get their attention — whether they're right next to you or out exploring. Pick a sound below, then tap Play."
Available sounds: Clicker, Whistle 1, Whistle 2, Ring, Quiet, Come Back, Search and Beep.
Please note: the sound "Plays on the tracker over Bluetooth, or over the network when not connected." — so you can use it whether your pet is right next to you or further away.
[CONFIRM: how long a tracker sound plays before it stops]
Phone sounds
The Phone tab plays sounds from your handset instead — Beep, Whistle, Clicker and Bell. Tap a sound to play it once, or press and hold to loop it.
Vibration cues
Gentle, Medium and Strong vibration cues are sent to the tracker over Bluetooth only — there's no network fallback.
| What happens | What you'll see |
|---|---|
| You're out of Bluetooth range | "Connect to your tracker via Bluetooth to send a vibration." |
| The tracker doesn't answer | "The tracker didn't respond. It may be waking up — try again in a moment." |
If nothing happens
- "The tracker can't play sounds while charging." — unplug the tracker and try again.
- Battery low — light and sound are unavailable until you charge the tracker.
- No response at all — tap again. The tracker's Bluetooth module sleeps between reports and often misses the first command.
